Hey Icons,
I used to be one of those people who thought hiking was boring and pointless. But then I joined the Black Scottish Adventurers (BSA) team, a group of passionate and supportive hikers who are committed to making the outdoors more inclusive and accessible to all.
My first BSA hike was a bit nerve-wracking, but the group was so welcoming and encouraging that I quickly felt at ease. We hiked through a beautiful forest and climbed a small mountain, and I had an absolute blast. I loved the feeling of being surrounded by nature and the challenge of pushing myself physically.
Since then, I’ve been hiking with the BSA once a month, and I’ve fallen completely in love with it. It’s a great way to get exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with other like-minded people.
Here are a few of the things I love most about hiking with the BSA:
- It’s inclusive and welcoming. The BSA is a diverse group of people from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their fitness level, experience, or background.
- It’s supportive and encouraging. The BSA is a community of people who are passionate about hiking and the outdoors. We support and encourage each other, and we always have each other’s backs.
- It’s a great way to learn and grow. The BSA offers a variety of workshops and events that teach participants about hiking, navigation, and outdoor safety.I’ve learned so much from the BSA, and I’m always eager to learn more.
- It’s a lot of fun! Hiking with the BSA is a great way to get exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and make new friends. We always have a good time, and I always feel refreshed and energized after a BSA hike.
If you’re looking for a fun and rewarding way to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors, I highly recommend hiking with the BSA. It’s a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and challenge yourself. And it’s just plain fun!
